I just installed MediaPortal earlier today. So far its beyond amazing. I've built/configured it to do everything I wanted and then some.
The last hitch I have is this.
I'm on brighthouse cable in FL. So I have to use their cable box, since they made 90% of their channels digital (NO QAS, well 12 or so channels)
I can watch tv perfectly fine in WinTV 7, with the Svideo in. However, when I try it in MediaPortal it says no audio/video detected.
I'm completely confused by this.
What should I do next? or can someone point me at any additional learning materials as I've been reading for a few hours now.

(i didn't see this listed already which is why i'm posting it. However I did see the alternate software encoder for Hauppauge 950q, but the files / links aren't there)
