Hauppauge HVR-1100 won't show up (1 Viewer)

I have just bought a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 1100 hybrid video recorder card, when I try to add it as a tv-card it wont let me use analog signals, only digital... I want to be able to youse the analoge part. And when I start MediaPortal it can't find my Hauppauge card, only my pinnacle card in the setup wizard... Anyone know why? It also disappears when i enter the setup>capture cards menu again

Hello, i've bought the same card. At the beginning, media portal doesn't see my analog card, it see only my digital card. I have installe the latest SVN of Media portal, and after my analog card was OK found by MP.
But i have a big problem, I don't arrive to SCAN channel with the analog card, I'have the message "Unable to create graph". I found a lot of solution in the forum (windvr3, softPVR) but it doesn't work. It a HVR 1100 (Triangular card)

Hello,

A SVN is sort of update for the soft, you can download it at the home page of this site.
In fact, you must to update your CaptureCardDefinitions.xml file located in the media portal directory. I propose to

- download the last SVN
- execute It
- backup the CaptureCardDefinitions.xml
- uninstall Media Portal
- Reinstall Media portal without the SVN
- replace the CaptureCardDefinitions.xml file with the backup

Hm.. Now I feel really stupid, I can't find the place to download the SVN's... All I can find is this link: https://www.team-mediaportal.com/news_feeds/mediaportal/svn-changelog.html
But there is nothing there I can download, am I supposed to download that many updates manually?

Now I found the SVN, and I have also downloaded it and installed it like you said, but still, I aint able to search for analogue tv-signals, only digital. I can both scan and watch analogue tv though, but only with WinDVR3and Hauppauge's software.

your description of problem has almost five months. What is changend in yours 1100. Does it work an analog part? Im realy intersting about it because I have the same problem. I thing this is perfect card with perfect picture, but Haupauge made awful control interface.
My fight with this part of MP takes several months without success.
Pleeeease, do you have good news for me?

the card you have is actually a HVR-1110 (triangular HVR1100 with Philips chipset).
