Hi,
The "user" files are now found opening MediaPortal configuration & on top of the window you can see a folder icon. Open one of them & browse one up & you have all those files.

The error in your log indicates that something went wrong with drivers installation, did you use Hauppauge driver cleaner before you installed latest drivers?

I have checked your idea,

1.,i used the hauppague driver cleaner, but i get again the error.

I download from the manufacturer site the new driver: 88x_2_122_26109_WHQL.zip

2., Another effect: i have in another directory the old 0.2.3 MP, but this have no trouble with my current driver state, i can add my card without trouble. Older MP get good driver, new dont?

3., i have added from the older carddefinitions xml my hvr-1300 config to the new card def. xml, but no effect.

New log attached and i have the screen capture with the ui error message from the MP RC1 mytv.

Hi,
The definition for your card hasn't change @ all so it should be good.
You should do a clean instal which means.
1. uninstall MediaPortal & delete "C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal" folder & C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\ folder(if you need those folders for later, copy both to a safe place before uninstall)
2. reboot
3. Install MediaPortal RC1 again + latest SVN
4. Start MediaPortal Configuration & configure your card
5. If it still not working use MPTestTool to collect all logs & attach it to your post.

Ronilse here is my log files collection.

1.,I have deleted/uninstalled all new MP files
2.,Reintalled
3.,Installed SVN update
4.,Unistalled Tv Server (after this i can add my tv card)

Same error: Unable to creat graph to this device, in the error log i see this, im not developer but this is not good:

Hi,
Do you have all windows updates?
Nothing else uses the card(like MCE, or WinTV etc)?
Not sure what this could be since last time i tested this card, it worked out of the box with MP & old engine(also TVE3 without probs), the errors you see it's because it doesn't find the filters it uses to build the graph. I'll test a normal pvr & MP fresh old engine this weekend to see if anything can be spotted...

Under MCE or with Mp i dont need the factory tv software, i install only the driver, i hope not this is the problem. In my opinion this is not windows update problem. In this case i get same error message with the old MP. I copyied the old MP to a different directory, but 0.2.3 working without any problem. In the MediaPortal dir i have the new MP Rc1, but this have trouble.

0.2.3 is good, RC1 not? what have 0.2.3? if i get same error by 0.2.3, i say i have software problem,but not...

i wait your test summary

Hi. I use this card (analog only), and have never had any problems with it. I always innstall drivers from the newest hauppauge downloadable "CD". I prefer the UK-site for my drivers Hauppauge Digital : Support

I download the CD is proposes for my card, and deselects all but the card driver. It then installs all the different filters and demuxers and I don't know what, and then it's all right with MP-server (I also use single-seat setup). Perhaps your driver file only contains one of the necessary drivers/filters/etc.? (I think I've got 5 or 6 different hauppauge entries on my computer now.
