Hi there!

I'm a noob to this site.
After I failed to get my Hauppauge HVR-3000 Hybrid (DVB-T, -S, analog) TV-Card running unter Sceneo V2 I thought about changing to mediaportal, which I think is better anywy because of open source.

Does anybody havbe any expierience with the HVR-3000 card running under MP?
Any problems or hints I could use that would save me time and nerves?

Thanks in advance

Rodriguez

    Hi,

Yes, MP has support for all three parts of this tv card. I'm not sure how many tuners are on that card and (if more than 1) you can use any of the three standards simultaneously.

    Kind regards,
    Michel

Thank you scoop for your uick reply!

I installed MP right now, but the card is not detected. Do I need some special drivers (wdm or wpa or something like that)? Where do I get them?

    Hi,

You should install the BDA drivers for your card. If the card doesn't get recognised with those drivers, then start setup, try to add the card under television -> capture cards (which would fail), close setup and then attach the mediaportal.log or post it @ http://pastebin.team-mediaportal.com and post a link back here.

    Kind regards,
    Michel
