    Hi again medi0305

Did you use my DLL when you generated the logs? It doesn't look like it because I can't see any of the extra debug information that I added. I need to see logs for using my DLL - the DLL itself won't fix it, but it should tell me what I need to do to fix it.

    Hi again medi0305

The debug is telling me that the ATI encoders are not installed. Did you uninstall "AMD Media Codec Package"?

    Hello MM,

Many thanks for Your help. I instaled AMD Media Codec Package, but when I am looking in software encoders tab in TV server setup, there is only InterVideo video and audio encoders instaleed. I dont have any clue what is next. Please give me advice.

    Best regards,

    medi

    Hi again medi0305

I apologise for the delayed response. I'm not sure why the ATI software didn't install the encoders for you. I installed them about a year ago with the AVIVO package released with the Catalyst 10.4 drivers. Perhaps things have changed since then...

    Try this:
    1. Download and extract the attached DLL into your any folder on your computer (maybe "C:\Program Files (x86)\ATI Encoder").
    2. Open a DOS prompt (Start->type "cmd"->press enter).
    3. Type cd "<folder where you put the file>" (for example, cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\ATI Encoder") and then press enter.
    4. Type regsvr32 atimpenc.dll and press enter.
    5. Restart your computer.
    6. Open TV Server configuration.
    7. Check if TV Server now thinks that the ATI encoder is installed.
    8. Try to scan for channels and/or watch TV.

Let me know if that works for you. If it doesn't then please post TV Server logs again (using my DLL).

    Best regards,
    mm

[Edit: removed attachment. I don't want to be in trouble with AMD/ATI. ;)]

Did you reboot after installing the encoder? Can't hurt.

    Hi again medi0305

Great - so the ATI encoders are finally installed! :)
Your logs tell me that my debug version of TVLibrary.dll has a bug in it. :sorry:

Restore the original TVLibrary.dll from 1.2.0b from the backup that you made and then everything should work perfectly.
