Hi all,
I've been going into the forums several times and I haven't got an answer to a problem that apparently occurs many times to other MP users. I hope you can help me with it:
When doing channel change with timeshift activated, image quality is very poor (macroblocks and so on). Then, if I press the pause button and wait a couple of seconds, the image quality is very good. What is the cause of this? I've seen throughout the forums that many times the dvb-t card being used when this problem happens is a Nova-T, the same that I've got. Any hint?
If I turn off the timeshift option by default, tv quality is a little bit lower (very noticeable with sports channels), so in order to have full quality it looks like timeshift must be enabled. Is this true?
In addition when performing fforward/revind operations I cannot see any image refresh (i.e., the last displayed frame remains on the screen until I play the video at normal speed). Any recommendation for this?
A final question: Does it make sense to have MP + TVE at the same PC? Which are the advantages that this configuration would bring?
Thank you guys for your development and support effort. I really love MP!

fhuerta
