Hi Aaron
Thanks for the IR-Server Suit you mailed me.
I have the stable version 0.2.3.0 (no SVN) - and have been using the build-in support for the Hauppauge remote and blaster - and all was working, though not 100% correct channel change every time....
I then wanted to try the IR Server Suite. But I can't get it to work at all. I can't even use the remote to control MP, it is not reacting to button press on the remote.
Here are the steps I followed:
1. In Mediaportal config in the remote section, I removed the check-mark on "Use Hauppauge remote"
2. In Mediaportal plugin I removed the check-mark on Hauppauge IR-Blaster - so it aint enebled anymore.
3. I made sure that your plugin "MP Control Plugin for IR-server" was enabled.
4. I started "Input service configuration" and here I enabled Hauppauge remote.
But it won't let me control anything. I even started "Translator" and tried to make a new button mapping, and then pressed a button on the remote - but it timed out.
Have I missed something obivious - that I should have enabled?
Regards
Steen
