Hauppauge RC6 TSHA-IR01 Plugged in HVR-4400 (1 Viewer)

The HVR-4400 remote transmitter is sending the same codes as the microsoft RC6 ehome transmitter. The two remotes are equivalent as far as I can tell (I used the hauppauge transmitter with the microsoft ehome receiver with no problem)
The IR receiver that comes with the 4400 worked for me by plugging it on the 4400 and by selecting in mediaportal an MCE remote. Make sure "IR.exe" is NOT running for this approach to work. I actually uninstalled the entire infrared suite supplied by hauppauge from the control panel in order to get the above working.
Wake up after sleep is not possible (yet!). I am still working on it but given that the power on the 4400 is off when the computer goes to sleep, I don't think wake up will work in the end...
