Hi,

I have a Hauppauge remote connected through one of my TV cards which until this morning worked fine.

Now I am getting random reactions from MP.

I first tried the batteries, no change.

Restarted. Same.

An example would be press guide, get videos. Press guide again, get guide. Press page down, numbers entered in the guide (8 I think).

Logs attached. any ideas what has happened?

"HCW: No mapping found" in logs would seem to be related to this.

Always the first try: fallback to factory settings...
In Media Portal configuration under "Remote" and the Hauppauge tab there is a button for standard settings. Then restart Media Portal configuration, go back to Remote, Hauppauge, Learn. There you can delete the profile for the smallest Hauppauge remote, because it produces some problems under certain circumstances. Okay, then you should have back the standard settings with the original mapping...

Thanks for your reply.

About an hour ago, my keysonic keyboard stopped as well.

I removed a USB extender from the receiver for the keyboard and put it back in without the extender.

The remote started working from then as did the keyboard.

All I can think is that the keyboard receiver was trasmitting some false keypress and interfering somehow with mediaportal and remote meanings.

Whatever the cause, it saved me money so am happy.
