Re: *NEW* MP-TVSeries v2.6.0 Stable Release [24-Jul-2010] [Requires MP 1.1.0+] Let's use some logical reasoning: 1. Something does not work.
Redneck: Fix it! Logic: Could it be working fine for others?
2. Many people are using it without a problem, why does it not work for me?
Redneck: Who cares, fix it! Logic: Maybe there is something unique about my situation.
3. If it works fine for others, but not for me, how do I make it clear as to why it fails?
Redneck: Why has this become my problem? Fix it already! I told you it was broken, that should be enough! Logic: Let's see, there is a manual, website, wiki, forum instructions, signature links and common sense that tells me I should supply LOG files. I searched the forum to make sure nobody else is reporting the same problem already. It will probably be smarter to create a new forum thread to make sure my problem does not get lost in the sea of forum chat. With the log files, and my detailed explanation as to what steps I did that created the log files, the developer or anybody else willing to help can now exactly see why something that works fine for everybody else is causing a problem for me. Without it, all they can ask for is for more information. Could it be they ignore me, because they prefer to focus on the problems they can solve faster by having access to the information they need to solve it in the first place?
It speeds things up if you approach it with logic. Try it.
