Hi ORPhD,
Yes, I did not have to change things from what I had said in my first post to get it to work - I just needed the updated version of the pluggin zebons posted here, which I believe has been wrapped into an offical "4.2.6a" release.
In my case, for my 200 or so movies, I DID need to adjust directory names on probably 30% anyway, since I was not perfect in my naming vs title of the films (i.e. "star_wars_4_A_new_hope" vs "star_wars_eppisode_iv_a_new_hope" sort of things). I would make sure you are testing on one where the title EXACTLY matches the directory name. If your drives are network mounted, it will take a very long time to find the movie the first time, going over 100mb it takes me about 60-90 seconds the first time to find a movie.
What is your symptom? the "nothing happens", is that just hanging in the plugin screen, or is it going to a black screen like the movie is playing, but zero length. The zero length movie thing is what I get if it wound up "finding" an invalid file.
Good luck, I will help if I can...
