Hello All,
I recently installed MediaPortal and attepmted to configure it for my AIW tv tuner. At first it would not recognize my tuner at all, so I searched the forums and found how to edit the Capture Card Configuration xml file. Now my TV tuner is recognised (and i hear sound when autotuning!) but i get no video whatsoever. Now I think i have read that I need to run GraphEdit to line up the pins correctly, but I have no idea how to do this. I searched the forums etc but couldnt find anything that told me how to use graph edit for an Analog TV tuner card. I dont even really understand the whole "pins" thing and ive opened up GE and done some fiddling (once again i hear audio) but i dont know what filters to insert, or anything like that.

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Martok

Best way to use GarphEdit is to start an application that uses your TV Card correctly (e.g. the SW that came along with it) and use the option "File / Connect to remote Graph"

I have this card, and it is not working correctly under Media Portal.

Also, I thought that I read somewhere in this forum, that the newer ATI MMC cannot be viewed with GraphEdit.

If you do a search for AIW, several threads will come up. Here's two that may help:

I followed the advice to change the CaptureCardDefinitions file, and I did get it to work. But, the picture has a distorted ugly green bar across the bottom of the picture. Depending on the version of card you have, your entry in the CaptureCardDefinitions file will be different. The best that I can tell, is that the older WDM drivers work better in MP than the newer T-200 ones.

I attempted to take a screen shot to show you the green bar at the bottom of the screen. To my surprise, the green bar does not show up in the screen shot. What is visible is the screen being split, with a second portion of the image repeated on the lower section of the screen.

Anyone have any suggestions on fixing this?
