Umfrage ist ja eindeutig. Hoffe da wird dran gearbeitet. Selbst die neuen Receiver Generationen können das und die Images dazu, Vu+, Dm usw... Da sollte das doch MePo auch hin bekommen.

Last week I had a Kathrein 924 for testing, HBBTV is really a benefit. Direct acces to Mediathek an so on.

Many cheap Receivers can do this. Mepo is so awesome and should can do this... It's a feature that mepo need.

So is any work done on this? Did anyone spent a thought on how this might be achibed with today's MePo capabilities ( espacially today's cap's since this thread is about 3 years old)? It might be a nice feature MePo should just be able to use.

Hi, i'm agree with you, but we are few issue :

1. We can't force Dev for work on this enhancement
2. Dev's working hard on the next TV-Engine, we prefer not add many enhancement for now (Globally MP start to a new chapter since 1.3)
3. don't forget @Developers working on their Free time !

Well, if they're working on it now, this is the time to consider adding this function. Once they finish, we'll have to wait for another major update, which will happen years away.

I know it's easier said than done, because hbbTV requires "cooperation" between TV decoder (reading AIT tables) and web browser overlay (opening a website pointed in AIT and decoding items passed as an Object Carousel), but it is one of the most innovative features of digital TV, which is gathering a lot of attention.
