I have just installed a fresh install of Windows XP with SP3 and Mediaportal 1.0.2. The reason for reinstall was problems with Vista and Windows 7 setups, so I reverted to try and get a stable setup.
All the SD channels work perfect, but as soon as I tune a HD channel mediaportal freezes, no picture and only sound from the channel. I have tried a few different video codecs for h.264, like Cyberlink, ffdshow, MPC, but all produce the same error. Freeze. I have to ALT+F4 to close it.
My system is ATI Radeon 2600, 2GB ram, FloppyDTV-C on Canal Digital in Norway. This used to work in both Vista and Windows 7 and even XP before, but now I cannot seem to get it working. Reaching out for a little assistance!
