Im thinking about investing in a HDTV sometime in the future (not imediate). Also I need to get a tv tuner for my htpc (currently just a game / video station ) and i was wanting to get one that would work with my (theoretical) new tv. Now i know that HDTV can come OVA or via cable, so would the Hauppauge 150 work fine? Or do i need to find an actual "digital" version? Thanks.

A hauppauge pvr-150 is an analogue card. For digital tv you will need a digital card, but apart from that I cant help you, I dont know anything about dvb-c.

Explain what country you're in for a start - but no a Hauppauge PVR is not HDTV.
HDTV is synonymous with Digital Broadcasts.
