I have masive problems with HD TV stops. Tried everything, also did a reformat 3 times and tried different codecs and also none codecs other that MS DTV. Same result.

Im down to having moved the htpc to where the Cable provider has its signal comming in the house. Same problems.

Logs postet and my TsReader log is showing weird content. So is this bad signal ?

What is weird is that if i install 1.0.2 it is fine.
If i install DVBviewer it is fine.
    GBpvr is fine.
    Media Center is fine.
But, MP 1.1.0 RC1 is breaking up HD TV so much it stops.

Im out off ideas on this one my self - putting my trust on help from developers or community.

    Thanks ...

You need to reproduce the error with default Blue3Wide skin.
Maya is known to come with a plugin that is not always behaving good.

i can confirm that Maya is causing problems with live TV playback for me. It causes continuity errors in tsreader after a while.

If you want to use Maya, create a clean install and only install the skin xml files for it (when prompted in the Maya install, untick everything except the grayed out top option). It should work ok without the plugins (it does for me)

    Hey miroslav22,

so all the probs disappeared when you did the clean install without the full installation of maya? Do you know which plugin is causing the errors?
As far as I remember there are only the info service and the maya home screen config installed.
I just tried to disable info plugin, there was no betterment in the logs.

yes, I did a clean install and the problems seem to have stopped. What I was experiencing was HD channels would play fine for up to 30 minutes, and then would just pixelate and corrupt. Changing channel and then changing back again fixed it, but then the problem usually came back a few minutes later.

I was using a few non-standard components (MDAPI and a hacked tswriter) so I was concerned that they were causing the issues at first. But after re-installing several times with different combinations of these components, it worked fine when Maya wasnt installed at all.

I then tried a minimal install of Maya (without the plugins) and its been running for nearly 3 days without this issue appearing, so im 99% confident it works without these plugins. I dont know which one is causing the problems im afraid, but I'll try and investigate if I have some time this week.

When I re-installed I selected the "Full product cleanup" just to make sure that nothing was left over. This might not be needed.

I didnt think to try and disable the plugins first, but this is certainly worth a try (I think theres 3 installed by default)

Thanks for looking into this chemelli...

Did a remove Maya and plugins and tried again with Blue3wide.

Same HD stutter and then it simply stops. Some times right away ... some times after minuttes...

Here are logs from the reproduced error ...

    NOTICE: im on SVN 25137

    Thanks

JacobJust look into your evr.log you have framedrops like hell.
Think you should start there. Looks like after initial dropping it falls back to normal. Then after 22s it starts to drop again till nothing works any more.
One of the skilled people should look at that, I am a complete rookie in that field...
Have you tried this one: Link

    Hi Luca Brasi

And thanks for the respons ... i have tried the refering link with no changes...

What is realy weird is that i can watch the HD channels on 3 clients only machines without them stopping on HD channels.

    Same SVN 25137.

All 3 client are with Nvidia graphics cards ... MP 1.1.0 server/client HTPC is with a new ATI 5850.

Could this be a ATI/MP combination that doesent match ?
(i know this is thin, but i have tried everything other than changing hardware in HTPC.)

    Regards
