I was able to install MediaPortal on my laptop with the HDHomerun as the only tuner/input device installed. It worked but that leaves me without the ability to watch any of my cable channels (only the local broadcast channels are of course available through clear QAM thanks to Comcast) that I get through my Hauppauge card and STB. So I'm now stuck with an HDHomerun that I can't use.
