HDTV card for Norwegian RiksTV (1 Viewer)

This post might only be interesting for Norwegian MP users.

As many norwegians allready know, RiksTV has gone live.
RiksTV is the digital groundnet in Norway that will give us HDTV signals.

The format used is MPEG-4

So, are there any cards available that we can use with mediaportal?
A card with CA-module support is a must, as there are no free channels.

After what I have understood, NRK is broadcasted free..another dissapointment is that there will be several years untill we se HD.

Yes, but there will be some HD chanels at launch, or doesnt it?
NRK channels are free, but you still need a card to decrypt it.

Don't think there will be any HD channels at launch..Well, it is launched now so somebody should be able to tell us . Didn't now that one needed card to decrypt NRK too.

There will be no HD channels at launch. There isn't enough bandwith to send both analog and digital HD at the same time. When the Analog net is closed, there will be HD channels =)

Okies. But the real question is: Is there any RiksTV hardware available that supports mediaportal?

Hopefully this EVENTUALLY will be a good solution for Norwegian HTPC users.

I got RiksTV now.. oddly enough its up and running 1 month before launch where i live =)
sadly I have to use an external decoder tho. Any news on TV-Cards who support the standard thats broadcasted here in Norway now? Is it going to work with mediaportal if such a card excists? Or will the standard have to be implented somehow? As I understand it this standard is coming to UK, Denmark, France, Germany, Spain and Portugal..
