Ahhhh, okay.... I understand now. :D
From your logs, it seemed you had positions stored in the DB so I guessed you had got some movement in TV Server configuration but not when changing channels in MP. If the motor is not moving at all then that is different. I'm about to go to bed (it is 2am here) but I can try to look at the code sometime this weekend. I think I will need to give you a special debug DLL to see whether commands are being sent to the motor.

I do not understand if i can

    1) use DVBViewer to move the motor with usals which is easier, for example to 12.5w, close dvbviewer
    2) the dish is still at 12.5W, open tvserver config goto diseq motor and store position

or I have to physically move the motor from the menu tvserver ??

    Hi gagias

I confess that I forgot about this thread - :sorry: :sorry: :sorry:

If you cannot get the dish to move at all in TV Server configuration then the dish will not move when you change channels.

I think the problem may be something to do with the "ss2: Tuner initialize failed:0x91000001
" message, but I don't understand what that message means. It *might* mean that the tuner can't be used because other software is using it. If you use the tuner in DVBViewer (or any other software) then you should restart TV Server before trying to use the tuner in TV Server. If that doesn't help, then can you please provide clean logs showing:

    1. Stop TV Server.
    2. Start TV Server.
    3. Go to motor tab.
    4. Try to move the motor (any direction) 5 times.

    Best regards,
    mm

well................. I finally got to use the diseq motor with mp, I devised a method to easily find positions.
I made a mark with a marker in the axis of the engine and moving the dish with DVBViewer and USALS any satellite position I made another notch on the engine body, each alignment of two notches corresponding to orbital position, Now I can easily find how many steps the rotor has to make the east or west for each satellite. the only problem encountered is that the indicator always shows tuner not locked, but since I was sure of the position moving forward with the tuning I found all the channels.

my hardware is Terratec cinergy s2 hd ci

giovifree: the problem you experienced must be different to the problem gagias has since you can get the motor to move but he cannot.

the only problem encountered is that the indicator always shows tuner not locked, but since I was sure of the position moving forward with the tuning I found all the channels.
Do you have logs so that I can try to fix this problem?
