    Hello,
I installed MP 1.0.0.0 with RC3 and I'm experiencing the following problem: Any time I play a movie (Divx) I'm not able to control it through remote or keyboard. this means that any Play, Stop, Pause,... bottons don't have any effect on the played movie. The only workaround is to use mouse, press twice the right botton and select "move to previous window". In this way I can see the movies list and the playing movie in a small square bottom left. Now, acting on the remote or keyboard, I'm able to control the movie. It seems like starting the internal player, MP "ignores" any commands. The strange think is that, sometimes, after a while (during the movie play fullscreen), remotes and keyboard are able to control the movie :(

    Any ideas about that?

    TIA
    Daniele

So clicking screen with mouse, restores focus by the sound of it.

Are you using divx codec which puts icon in systray whilst playing movie, if so you need the divx toggle tool to turn this off.

    Hi
so you mean that the "activation" of the divx messages on the toolbar may cause the control moved far from the MP Player? Actually I notice some pop-up uppear just after the movie selection so, if I got your suggestion, I have to "disable" divx codec to raise those pop-ups, am I right?

    Thx
    Daniele

    Hi,
thank you for the clue :D . I didn't success on "disable" the icon to appears in the tray, so I "forced" MP to stay always on top (MP conf -> General) and this seems to fix the problem

    :D

    Cheers
    Daniele
