Next issue. I have searched all over, when editing a atsc channel, or adding where do I find the frequency, service id, and pid?

This I can answer.

1. Open TV Server configuration.
2. Go to the "TV Channels" section.
3. Select a channel that you're interested in.
4. Click edit.
5. Select the tuning detail row.
6. Click edit.

Just curious: why would you want to know about this?

No, I know how to get there, I don't know where to find the correct information. Frequency always comes up as -1, but when I try to update xmlid it says invalid. The issue is my cdn atsc are being mapped to American, so I need to edit.

Frequency always comes up as -1...

This is because ATSC channels are scanned in by channel number. Windows somehow converts the channel number to a frequency. The frequency field is only there for QAM channels, which are scanned by frequency.

Ok, I'll try.

I rescanned and my channels scanned fine, however in my area I have a conflict with two atsc channels. 38-1 and 5-1 overlap, both want to be 5-1, something to do with the digital transition.

Anyway, I need to add 38-1 channel 38 manually. I need to know frequency, pid, and service Id for this channel. Where can. Find is information? And transport id

Ah, okay - I think I understand now.

Post the tv.log file from your TV Server log directory after doing a scan and I should be able to give you the details that you want. You can find this file by:

1. Open TV Server configuration.
2. Click "open log directory" in the top left hand corner.
3. The file should be there.

I thought I could get the info off the net. I know channel, just need pid etc to add the channel

Ok maybe this helps. Atsc channel 4.1 is channel 29, and media portal thinks it is the same as channel 29 cable, so the guide is wrong. I want to manually edit the channel to fix, and I don't know where to find all the information to input into add/edit atsc channel screen

As I said, post the log. The log contains the info you need and I can tell you exactly what to enter.
