Thanks for all of that waskol, but I'm completely confused . Perhaps if you post a screenshot of how Monochrome looks now, and a mockup of what you would like to see. Reason is, I have no idea about how things "should" look in the B2 skins... ;)

That just looks like a widescreen skin on a non widescreen monitor, if it was widescreen they wouldnt be 800x600.

I agree - looks like he's using the widescreen skin on a 4:3 monitor...

No, it is a 16:9 monitor, but I do not understand why I could not get a 16:9 resolution, only a 4:3.
You should have read a litlle bit more carefully what I wrote 2 posts above :
Does it come from the fact, that I output on a 16:9 tv a PC resolution in 4:3 ?

I swear I have a wide screen, but it is not a LCD !

Anyway, that does not matter, proportions should be respected, don't you think so ?

If you're using a PLASMA screen, you should use the HDMI input so you can use a TRUE widescreen resolution (1280x720). If you use the VGA input, this uses a 4:3 resolution (1024x768). If you're using a CRT screen (S-Video?) the TV will pull the 800x600 image into a wide image (anamorphic). This is not a native WIDE resolution.

I used to have these issues as well when I had a 16:9 CRT TV.

    Psycho,

do you have any ideas what could cause the pixelation around text in monochrome?

    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...o-like-dark-skins-updated-29566/index106.html

First I thought it might be related to the fact the skin is 720p, but there are 1080p users who don't experience it. It's not GPU related, cause it happens to ati, intel and nvidia users. I've cleared the font cache, didn't help ... It's not a big issue, but who better to ask than the monochrome man?

Hi all, as most of you are aware I've been "away" for some time. Currently I have Monochrome and Indigo running on RC3 with latest SVN.

I need your help to fix and update the skins.
I can help you to update Indigo skin files for MyFilms v4.7.x but where can I find an Indigo package for RC3 ?

    Haha,
I think that you've pointed the real thing : I am sure you have found the good explanation to my issue (wich is not one)

Thank you very very much for this clear answer : it explains the thing very well.
Now I really understand why It shows up like it is ;)

For the moment, everything is OK with 4:3 skins. As long as my CRT tv is working, I will not change it for a LCD. When the time will come I will change it (within 2,4,6 months, a year may be ?), or when full HD tv will be affordable.

Thank you so much for you support.
    Have a good week-end.

Wahoo, glad you're back PR - I was worried we might have lost you and your excellent work.

As has been said MovingPictures skin files were crafted by Ryan - I modified them myself as as I didn't like the big DVD cover on the fan art in list mode and just moved it back to the info bar at the bottom. Also, I took the DVD cover off the bottom bar in Big Thumbnails view as it is a bit unnecessary but these things are just personal preference.

Another problem that I've only recently noticed and could well be an MP thing and not an Indigo thing, is that in the EPG the times seem offset by 15 mins so that a program that starts at 17:45, has the beginning of the program underneath 17:30.

EDIT: The X-Factor result is for my Missus!!!!!!!!
