Is it possible to just uninstall/reinstall the MP Client? I know it was possible before RC 1's deploy tool.

TV3 Server is perfect, its just the MP Client that crashes!

    Thanks!

Hey, I tried that, still no luck!

The mediaportal.xml is only about 6 -8 lines long, is that about right?

re-installing MP Client.. seems to run now. WOuld be nice to know what caused this though!

[EDIT: how do i uninstall the TV Plugin? ]

You don't, uninstalling both still leaves the sql db intact (make sure you read uninstall option, no do not delete db), so not a problem when you reinstall.

you can extract the installers from the deploy tool with winrar or 7zip, there is an file: package-mediaportal.exe and package-tvserver.exe.
you can launch both or one of them, it will detect that the product is already installed and offers you to run uninstall, you can do that without loosing any settings or so, just read the message box carefully ;)

after uninstallation is finished and closed the installer is back on top, and you can continue the reinstallation process.

or you simply uninstall it manually and reinstall it using the deploy tool ;)

    regards
