Hi tourettes

I think I've got some interesting news about the sync problem.

When I watch live TV (danish TV2) and press the right arrow on my keyboard the TV stops for a second and then continues and the DVB subtitles are now in sync. I don't know what is meant to happen when you press the right arrow, but could it be influencing the delay problem?

Also there aren't that many people who have submitted test streams, but I guess that's why it's working better for Finish DVB :)

    Hi Tourettes
I have uploaded a danish ts-stream. I have tested the subtitles in VLC and they work just fine. Good luck. Thanks for your effort putting this dvb-subtitle filter together.

Looks like this sample has burnt in subtitles in the video stream.

I confirm what others have said. When you skip timing changes little bit. If it was little too early, after skipping it can be early, correct or late. When you don't skip or ffwd same "delay" seems to stick with subs, they always seem to show about same amount late or early.

I think I have found one bug that was causing the subtitles to be missing (and quickly catching up) after seeking. PES decoder was not reseted when seeking happened and it contained some old data wich could cause a "ghost" subtitle that had a big timestamp.

Sorry. After I demuxed the earlier submitted test stream I found out, that I was getting no sup-file. I have uploaded a new test stream. This time I have checked, that the test stream contains a sup-file.

I have uploaded a new version for testing. Only improvement is that subtitles shouldn't get lost (randomly) after seeking.

It would be nice to receive some more samples. Without those I have hard time on fixing the to fix the timing and other issues. So please test the current version and upload some samples and tell how the timing is wrong with the spesific sample, thanks in advance.

Is there any need for additional finnish streams, I guess you can get those yourself?

Like I said before, timing was ok on the first release if it didn't get advanced or late. That early/late delay doesn't change if you don't touch anything. Like the decoding of timestamps were correct but wasn't applied to directx surface at the right moment when it does that. If subs came too early they came too early the whole time. I'm not sure if I could explain this clearly, I hope you understood what I meant :)

Just downloaded the new filter and will give it ago. Thanks

Crash when playing file from "My videos"

I am using TVE3 from April 2nd, and second test version of tourettes subtitle filters.

Some times when I stop playing a video file MP crashes. It appears that the directshow filters are not closed down succesfully as far as I can read the attached logs.

    Regards

About the sync problem: Looks like there is no sync problem, when I playback a recorded ts-stream in the TV-section in Mediaportal. The sync problem only occur when watching live TV.
