Hi,

ive been using mp for a few years now and first of all i would like to thank the developers and this community for this wonderful software. but i have to say that ive tryed xbmc and i love to see the web video streams so well implemented.

im making this call for support to get my system up and running once and for all (my wife keeps bugging me... )

i need my htpc to do this:

1. whatch divx and hd movies (grab info automatically)
2. watch divx and hd tv series (grab info automatically)
3. watch home made videos
4. pictures view and slideshow
5. listen to mp3 and audio cd´s (grab info automatically)
6. web radio streams
7. tv channel web streams
8. videos web streams (youtube,etc.)
9. launch pc games and some apps
10. play emulator games (nintendo 64, megadrive, etc.)
11. setup my xpc-rc01 remote control (HID)
12. weather
13. setup 5.1 audio to play in all videos and audio
14. web browser (not very important)
15. karaoke cdg (not very important)
16. burn cd´s and dvd´s (not very important)

all videos, music and pictures will be streamed from one computer (main) to the living room computer with MP with mapped drives.
i know some of the stuff i want is done with the basic installation of mp, but i want to know what plugins are you guys using and the best way to set them up.
i just would like to make the ultimate mp installation.

5. db view is daytabase view (I was a bit lazy ), meaning that you don't see file names, but artist -> album -> song etc details. Files need to be tagged properly though (most is nowadays).
7. Now you do I haven't used it myself for some time, though. Glad Offbyone has continued this plugin. You also have YouTube plugin by saint +++
10. Never tried it I believe must users are quite happy with it....
11. Chemelli and Chefkock has maintained and improved it lately, and the goal is to support just about every remote out of the box, I believe. 12. Haven't tried it in a long time, as I see no need for it. If it diesn't work, a bugreport would be nice

i used the old my programs plugin for launching games. It works great, you get a list of all your games on the computer, you can even put in a screen shot of the game, kinda looks like a my emulators plugin except it lists your pc games.
