Help removing the transparent RSS bar (1 Viewer)

Hopefully someone can give me a hand here. I've been using Streamed MP since I first built my HTPC and for the most part I couldn't be happier. However, I've got this ongoing peeve that I'm trying to resolve.

Although enabled by default upon installation of StreamedMP, I have since disabled the RSS plugin. BUT, the semi-transparent bar is still at the bottom of the Basic Home screen. Is there a way to remove this altogether? I've looked high and low across these forums and can't seem to find anyone in a similar situation. I'm guessing it has a cooler name than "semi-transparent bar" and, therefore, I'm just missing it but would be appreciative for any help.

The key to disable it is in the Streamed MP Basic Home Generator Tool. Just untick (Enable RSS Ticker (Includes Weather) by Sambal) and then generate a new basic home by clicking GENERATE. Clear Cache, and start MP.

If you want to use RSS plugin for weather but don't want the ticker you can goto Skins\StreamedMP\Media\ and delete the file called "homerss.png"
