[Help] The 10th Kingdom, what chapters in the episodes?... (1 Viewer)

Hi!

I have 3 DVDs, so will make 3 big avi-files + subs (or maybe there is a better way?), but thetvdb has 10 episodes. So I need to split the 3 avis+subs to 10 files. Maybe some here knows what chapters are in what episodes? Would make it easier for me. Have tried to Google, but no luck so far ;-( So now I only gamble a bit and hope that someone here has 10th Kingdom (or have had a similar problem) and could help me (no fun if the description of episode is not what is in "my" episode )...

Any idea what chapters are in what episodes? Or maybe how long the parts are? Could I guess, as the total 3 DVS are 417 minutes (says the box), that the different parts are 41,7 minutes long?

I have been sleeping on this, and have an idea.

Say that I just divide the 415 minutes in 10 parts, then I get:

You have 3 DVDs with 40+40+20 = 100 chapters, so it most likely has been split where 10 chapters equal 1 episode on TheTVdB. So you just have to combine them back as such. There are many tools available to do so.

The easiest way is to convert it without having to transcode the video. MKV is the easiest container format to use then, it can even retain the chapter format inside each episode. Since MKV supports all the video and audio codecs that DVDs use, you only have to remux them over, which is a process of a few minutes (goes almost as fast as your harddisk can copy the files).

Take your pick: AVI Mux GUI, MakeMKV, MKVToolNix, Handbrake, MKVMerge, etc, etc.
