Help w/ installation troubleshooting announcement (1 Viewer)

Hello, I am trying to follow the installation troubleshooting announcement and it makes references to settings that don't match.

for example

...Goto Setup>Options - MyTv under Video Renderer. Try each of the options to see if they will resolve your problems. Overlay will be most compatible...

I'm not finding this any where in either the menu bar > options > configuration ... in various areas, the on screen settings in my tv arious others or any of the wizards.


please clarify this for me. I'm trying to determine why I get a pulsing tv image in my tv.

Hi,

You were probably reading an old post where they told you to switch between VMR9 (Renderless/Windowless) or Overlay. Those options are removed from recent versions of MP to get a more stable codebase. The current and only used video renderer these days is VMR9 (Renderless).
