Today I've finally decided to try TV-server, but first updated MP to the latest SVN-version. It seemed to be working, so I continued - installed TV-server, client TV plugin, and set everything up...
But when I started fixing the skin (I'm using bigger fonts) I found that every time I switch from MP to my text editor, MP minimizes, and it is quite difficult to switch back to it. Sometimes it does not show in the taskbar, and even if I switch to it using Alt-Tab, it does not show (though it seems like grabbing the focus). Well, I could live with that during setup, but then I found that when I start playing video with an external player, MP minimizes again, and the worst thing is - when player closes, MP does not restore, so I have just an empty desktop!
What's going on? Is this behavior by design? But why? If this is a new feature, is it possible to make it optional? Everything was working fine without minimizing, and I really liked that! Now I just cannot use external player at all as MP hides after that!
The options I use are:
[x] Start MP in fullscreen
[ ] Minimize to tray on start up
[ ] Minimize to tray on GUI exit
[x] Autohide mouse
...
[ ] Hide taskbar in fullscreen
[ ] MP always on top
...
