Just installed a plextor PX-608AL DVD-drive in my mediaplayer and I have some questions regarding; 1. Is it possible to fix the speed so the drive doesnt spin up. Just like a normal standalone DVD-player? 2. Can Mediaportal be set so if there are any disc (DVD or music-CD) in the drive, it will start to play If the arent any disc in the drive it should not start up? 3. Can My DVD also play other files on a disc automatic, such as WMV, DivX, pictures, MP3 etc.? 4. What would be the best codecs for DVD? For My Videos im using FFDshow and CoreAVC. Im running XP SP2 and MP 0.2.3.0.
