Okay, I've tried to read and research but I'm officially stuck... Ill begin with my specs.

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition
Gigabyte GA-880GA-UD3H (SATA3/USB3/HDMI)
8GB Patriot Gamer 2 DDR3 1333 (PC 10666)
OCZ Agility 3 SATA3 60GB SSD (OS Only)
2 TB Seagate Barracuda 5900 RPM HDD
2 TB Seagate Barracuda 5900 RPM HDD
500GB Seagate Barracude 7200 RPM HDD
LG BRay/DVD Burner
1000Watt PSW Lazer Modular

Video Card is pending RMA... but...
Currently ATI Radeon HD4890 XT but it should be upgraded to at least a HD 6770 after RMA

Anyway, I am in Miami / South Florida and have the following

Comcast Cable (HD and DVR package)
Hulu Plus
Netflix
iPhone 4S / iTunes
HDD Collection of over 900 Movies and 100 Complete TV Series/Cartoons
Crap load of games

I have over 2.9TB Left of space...

I'm missing a tuner card and I dont know what to get that is compatible with Comcast and MePo... I also dont know the best way to keep this computer a HTPC/PC.

I wanna use this computer for gaming and HTPC and school work... Help me brain storm guys. My budget is $1000 and I'm willing to be a guinea pig as long as I'm not blowing through cash for @#! and giggles. Thanks and I've very excited about this machine.

Double posting because its a tuner and general question... please help.

    Hi, and welcome :)

Just about any modern CPU and GFX is "good enough" for a HTPC w/MP, IMO. (Your's is way overkill and I guess it is a bit noisy).
Regarding Comcast and US TV in general, I'm afraid I'm clueless :sorry:
