Help with OSD and Moving Image TV/Video (1 Viewer)

Can someone help me with my mediaportal setup.

I'm now sure if its mediaportal or winxp related.

I can't see the green osd behind the TV/Video when its played.
I also can't see windows things such as task manager when the TV/Video is playing.

Only works when I'm not playing Tv/Video.

When media portal is playing a video or watching TV I can't get windows programs to come to the front.!!!!
