help with tv guide (1 Viewer)

i am sure that this is a stupid question, but i really cant find the answer anywhere. i have the program all set up and can watch tv just fine. my only problem is that when i click on the tv guide button all it says is no data available is there some setting i missed? or do i need some sort of plugin for my area. again i apologize if this is a stupid question.

What program you use to get the tvguide?
It's not enough to get MediaPortal up and running you need something to pull the tvguide from the web.

i am not using any program. i guess that would be my problem. can you suggest any for use in the united states.

theres a number of ways you can set up tv guide. depends what country you are in. Search the forums and there should be a solution.
