Hibernate Issues (1 Viewer)

Main problem I have is that MediaPortal will not restart when resuming from Hibernation until the mouse is moved.

Have tried MPStandbyHandler which makes no difference (doesn't appear to work as it doesn't reset my TV card)

I did have other codecs installed but MediaPortal's log said there were errors with them so I uninstalled and tried what was left.

On a new Vista install, with directx and .net upto version 3.5 installed and all available non language based updates installed, the only thing from a basic install is set TVServer config\general "delay detecting TVCards for 20 secs", do not have reinitilise tuner enabled in Powerscheduler.

This can only be a how much time the usb tuners need to reinitiliase themselves (the bing bong you get after a few seconds with Vista on resume when you know the tvcard is then recognised by windows).

Must have done 50 standby\resumes by now, whether done by powerscheduler for recording or by remote, touch wood no failures

Thanks.

Was trying Hibernate for maximum power saving (and to stop that flashing light on the case), might have to stick with standby if that's the easiest way to make sure it works.
