Hibernate TV-Server (1 Viewer)

Hello,

my English is not very good.

How one can adjust the Media portal server or MediaPortal Client in such a way, which goes to these only then into the Hibernate mode, if no more MediaPortal Client accesses these (myVideo, myPictures, ect.).

hibernation mode can only happen to the entire operating system and not an application if thats what u mean

there is not currently a "hibernation" mode option in MP, however if u have an MCE remote control..u can press the "PC POWER OFF" button , and set SLEEP to HIBERNATE instead

first go to :

START->CONTROL PANEL->POWER OPTIONS ... under the ADVANCED TAB

set "WHEN I PRESS THE SLEEP BUTTON"
change the option to HIBERNATE

this will also tell your operating system to go to HIBERNATE mode when you select SLEEP in the shutdown options in the main menu of MP

He should have explained his problem in english. He is not asking how to activate hibernate.
His problem is that he is running server and client on a pc but if he is using his laptop for streaming tv oder recorded tv the tv server shuts down the pc after 5 minutes. It seems the server doesnt recognizes the client using the server and sents the pc into sleep mode.

Problem so far repaired, which I had stopped in such a way the TV server, which does not go to these into the hybernate mode, as long as the service is more sqlbrowser started. This is started over the Client by batch file with to start by MP on the server, and with MP terminate again terminated. The Diest more sqlbrowser is not started even necessarily if MP on the server.
