I have just started to use hibernating as a function. I think it works well. Everything works upon resuming, as far as I have seen yet. Only real problem is that when I press my Hauppauge defined "Close application" button in MP the HTPC instantly reboots. And I don't think its a clean reboot because it's very fast as if it just cuts the power and restarts.
Anyone have any idea of this?
UPDATE: Well, now I notices I can't re-hibernate after having resumed a hibernate state. Then it just reboots instead (same fast reboot as described above). Is this common? I should be able to hibernate as many times in a row as I like huh? Could I fix this in any windows setting?
UPDATE 2: Well I unchecked the "Allow S3 although wakeup devices are present" in the General tab in the setup and that made it work finally. But now I have the problem that sometimes my iMON PAD wont respond to certain commands. Which is funny: some keys work some don't. Any help on this? Got the Silverstone LC16M case with the included VFD/remote.
