I upgraded to RC6 yesterday and noticed some issues that hadn't seemed to occur in the past.

One, the machine started to hibernate and reboot on its own today without responding to a recording schedule.

Two, the most disconcerting one, is it hibernated in the middle of watching a video.

This hasn't happended before today.

I haven't got any logs as I have restored my media centre to an image created a month ago but wonder if anyone else has had this occur in the last few days?!?

Cheers.

Hi:

I too have noticed the issue recently, after upgrading from 1.1.0 to 1.0.1. My system will hibernate while watching a video, usually after about 1 hour of the HTPC being turned on.

Anyone has any ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks.

You mean downgrading ?!?

I only had this issue once... after I restored my media centre image it had not occured again. Since then I have upgraded to MP 1.1.0 and have not seen this again.

If you still haven't changed your system, post some logs on here and perhaps some of the more experienced members can assist.

Sorry I mean upgraded from 1.1.0 to 1.1.1 - it is a typo on my part.

I have tried all sorts of ways and tricks but still no avail - I disabled the Power Options in XP Control Panel (I am still running XP SP3), tried it both with and without MST, and even tried with and without MPStandbyHandler but it still doesn't work. The strange thing is that is seems to hibernate after 60 minutes!

I will check out and option options that I could try, but if anyone else has this same issue and has a fix I would be interested to know.

Thanks.
