Another confirmation that after a fresh install of MP RC2 and an update of the movie database, my mouse does not autohide. It's definitely detracting, hopefully we can hunt down the root cause. I've also noticed that sometimes the start button on Vista doesn't disappear, until you load up a movie.

I have the same problem, also using RC2.
Thought It can be fixed in using english language, but after running the Assistant and switching from windowed mode Fullscreen and activating the mce remote the problem was back again.
Made a new try.
Without the assisant it seemes to work.
I could even switch to window and fullscreen without cursor
