I use Mediaportal TV Server with a HDHomerun HDHR3-EU and DVB-C qam256. Mediaportal TV Server uses arround the 40-45 mb/s per channel. When both tuners are in use the stream become unstable.

When I use Windows Mediacenter it uses ony arround 24 mb/s per HD channel and less for a SD channel.

I tried to install DVBLink software. This software is uses also arround 24 mb/s per HD channel and less for a SD channel.

Then i tried Argus TV server. This uses arround the 40-45 mb/s per channel.

Have you been able to solve this? I solved it by setting the HDhomerun to think that I use "NextPVR" as my mediacenter software. This reduces things to 10Mbit for HD streams. Also works in Argus and MePo

TVE 3 does not support PID filtering with the HDHomeRun. It will work with the NextPVR setting for some situations, but it won't work for others. For example, if you try to change from one channel to another which is broadcast on the same frequency... the channel change will fail.
