Are Home menu updates in your schedule at all? Because the last update was four months ago. If you don't plan to update it (and since I know many people that really need ability to customize the menu) maybe someone else should take over this task?

we are open source, this means everybody can update and extend the source. If you want this functionality, just implement it. Send us the patch via sourceforge and we will copy it to the source.

I know and understand this.
I am not a dev (I was B.C. and the World changed since) and after all the new Home plugin is your code (so it's logical to ask you right?).
Don't take any offence but you didn't reply to any of my questions. So do you plan any updates? (in a logical time frame) Or indeed you encourage someone else to take over Home plugin because you don't have the time or lost interest in that part or whatever?

OK that is a feedback of some kind.
I hope there are plans to implement things missing in the new Home plugin (that were in the old) in some logical time frame (add that we are already counting four -4- months without Home menu updates).
Work and Real Life in general comes first, but if you see that finding the time (and desire) to complete this so important to MP function (the main menu) is not going to happen... better say so.

This is kinda frustrating i must admit.
I guess alot of people want to create menu-items like "Games", "Online" etc, to sort things in the right menu-item.

I really really agree.
I don't really get how such vital for a Home Theater PC feature, is pushed as "unimportant" that much back (6 months with so many limits and no development already). Customisation is #1 when you are getting an OPEN box (unlike closed set-top-boxes and such).
Anyway...
Just don't talk about it much, because bans are easy when this happens (trust me I know).
