Hong Kong DMB-TH tuning parameters (2 Viewers)

Just started to play with MP.. added the following to tune the 13 stations here in HK. No sure what the "offset" does yet but it works.

Hi hkxyz,
Have you upgrade to MP1.1.1?
I install it and run OK, But it can't use EPG. Can you help?

I find that tvservice in both 1.1.1 and 1.2.0 crash when EPG runs. There is probably some coding bug there.

Maybe grab EPG via the web, but I'm not sure where the TV schedules can be found for HK.

Thanks for your reply.

I try a few webEPG, EPG grabber, etc. they can only grab ATV's but not TVB's. But when I place the XML file to MP and enable the EPG function, the system still hang.

I saw one old message from a Hong KOng expert. He thing that is MP's Chinese code issue. So far don't have the solution.

Maybe we have to gather all Hong Kong user and send a enquiry to MP for help.

where to add these lines?

If you are using MP1.1.0 please place the file at

C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbt
You can select on of the file and change the content and rename to HongKong.
Or I can Send the one I use to you.
Since I'm not at home these day, if you interested, I try to send you this Thursday

All you need to do is take the file I attached and put it in the folder that I said to put it in. Very simple. There is no need to take the lines and put them in another file...
