Horizontal scrolling issues with StreamedMP (1 Viewer)

Just a couple of minor problems.

Firstly, when MP loses focus, the RSS ticker at the bottom of the Home screen scrolls very slowly. Once I bring MP back into focus, it scrolls at the correct speed again.

Secondly, on the TV Guide it shows a category field (eg "Movie/Drama (General)" for most programmes in the lower right corner. This doesn't seem to have adequate space allocated to it, which means it has to scroll around, which it does very slowly, which is quite irritating and makes it hard to read. I think more space could be allocated to this field so that it doesn't need to scroll at all. Alternatively, perhaps there could be an option to disable it, as I have no use for this information anyway.

This is std behaviour, though having now looked at it we may be looking at a bug. Within MP configuration under General there is a Screensaver option and within here is a Idle timer option. You can set the amount of time before MP enters idle mode.

What appears to happen is that idel mode is entered immediatly when focus is removed and seems to be know what of disabling this, I am not sure if this is intended behaviour or a bug.

So sorry to say there is now fix for this currently.

This is a trade off between title length and genre length, we could expand the genre field and start it earlier but the would neen to shorten the title field and risk that scrolling.

For issue like this it is best to add them to the StreamedMP issue tracker (link in my sig) , this avoids us missing them and provides you feeed back on progress.

No problem. It's only a very minor issue and most of the time for most users, MP will have focus anyway, so it's not worth worrying about much (far more important things to focus on).

Thanks. As far as I can tell, the titles are never long enough so that they'd be at risk of scrolling if the genre field was expanded slightly, but perhaps the best option would be an option to hide the genre field for people like me who don't really want it and who find it's scrolling behaviour annoying. I'll certainly post my suggestions in the StreamedMP issue tracker as you suggest.
