Hi,

I have a very confusing issue. I am trying to find out which channel is the 7HD 070 channel. When i scan for australian tv channels, for the 7 network i get 3 that show up...

7 digital
7 digital
7 digital 1

Now one of them is the HD channel 070 but it doesn't show me the channel name like 070 071 072. All i can go off is when i edit channel i can see the Transport ID and PMT PID ID. These ID numbers are different for all three network 7 channels. Does anyone know how to find out which one is the actual HD 070 channel? Thanks very much in advance for your help :)

Really? I thought they used to advertise that channel 070 was in HD or did they change something?

Thanks again :)

It's only been like that since September 2010.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_HD
Seven HD breakaway programming ceased transmission on Sunday 4 October 2009 in preparation for the launch of 7TWO a few weeks later on 1 November. Seven HD then returned to being a high definition simulcast of Seven, before finally being replaced by 7mate on 25 September 2010.

7mate is an Australian free-to-air high definition digital television channel, which was launched by the Seven Network on 25 September 2010.[1][2]
The network stated that 7mate would contain sport and regular programs aimed primarily at a male audience, with programming drawn from a combination of new shows and other shows previously aired on its sister channels Seven and 7Two.[1] The channel replaced Seven HD as the Seven Network's high-definition channel, but broadcasts on channel 73.[1][3] The first program broadcast on 7mate was the drawn 2010 AFL Grand Final in high definition.
