    Doh

You will get more exposure for your question, and potentially better resonse to it if you ask your question in a subforum that is dedicated to codec or playback issues

Ok give me some slack on this one, just to busy reading\replying, never noticed

    ps. moved

Thanks for the support guys. I'm not a forum n00b in the least, so thanks for moving my thread to get more exposure. I will DL gspot later tonight and see what I need to play back those certain files.

    Hi all,

I no luck with uninstalling everything and reinstalling everything. Here's the output (export) I get from gspot 2.70a. It doesn't tell me very much. Compared to when I load a regular divx file. I'm watching 1080p movies in an mkv container with x264 encoding.

As you can see, it doesn't tell me very much. I get the same output when looking through other files that are similar (1080p, x264, mkv) but DO play in mediaportal.

I appreciate your help in advace!

Thanks for your help guys, but I've found the solution in this thread.

    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/.../coreavc-1-6-5-0-problems-media-portal-34924/

Had to install vsfilter and then autoload in haali media splitter settings.

    It works with everything now!

    Thanks again
