The normal episodes are easy. All that is needed is:

    \\fileserver\media\TV-series\Buffy\Buffy - Season 1\Buffy S01E01 - Welcome to the Hellmouth.avi

    or some other variation.

But what about the special episodes, like:

    - Battlestar Galactica - Revealed
    - Battlestar Galactica - The Phenomenon
    - Doctor Who X-mas episodes?

    And similar stuff..

    Where do you put those?

And that gets picked up by MP-TV?

But doesn't that sometimes collide with the "overall view" of having the episodes in chronological order?

I just look up the TV-series on TVDB and the name it just as it is on the site...
    Always works fine.

Specials are season 0 and sometimes they are put in between the 'normal season' (for example with Grey's Anatomy) but I think that is the way it was originally aired.

For specials, make a "specials" folder, then as stated above label it something like Battlestar Galactica.S00E01 - Mini Series Part 1 or something.
