How does MP decide on the language of the information it gets? (1 Viewer)

Hello!

A quick question regarding the movie information MP gets automatically. I have a big library and I sometimes see that movies get imported with a German Title instead of the English Title, even though it is an american movie.

What is the reason for this and can I set this somewhere? It seems to happen randomly with some titles.
e.g. "Despicable Me" gets detected and displayed as "Ich, Einfach Unverbesserlich", "Despicable Me 2" shows up with the English name.

My Windows installation is in English and Media Portal is in English.

EDIT:
I have set that the importer should get all information in English in the importer settings.

Depends what scraper you use.

If you use themoviedb scraper it uses your mediaportal language settings, if you use IMDb I think it depends on your geo location.

It seems to work now after I have changed the scraper from IMDB to themoviedb

However a little bit confusing as also the IMDB scraper is listed as "English" in the list:

It use to pull down english content until IMDb change their site, might be worth removing that 'english' string now.
