Using XMLTV the only way to wakup your computer is to use a Windows Scheduled Event, the problem is that your computer will wake up start grabbing and if MediaPortal is running it will close down after some minutes on home screen (if you're using this feature of PowerScheduler).
4 possibilities :
-disable the automatic hibernate/standby of powerscheduler (in plugins' configuration)
-instead of disabling this feature you can set a time longer than the time you need to do a full grabb
-try the WatchDog plugin (don't know if it's still up-to-date) and add xmltv to the list of running process which prevent PowerScheduler to send the computer to standby
-try the WebEPG grabber instead of XMLTV which has a plugin which is compatible with PowerScheduler (the WebEPG grabber plugin), it will wake up your computer and send it to hibernate/standby once grabbing is done.
