Hi... I am using MP 1.0.2 with the TV Server and Media Portal on the same box. When using the Media Protal to watch TV, there is no power down, but after the pre-defined inactivity period we suspend. So thus far all good.

The system then powers on for scheduled recording, as expected.

Where I have an issue is for the XMLTV scheduler. The Log always indicates that the system is to wake up at the correct time, but an already passed date????

So for instance if I check the TVLOG today, the XMLTV next wakeup time is at 06:00 am this morning ( which has already passed). This only appears to be correct when a recording runs after midnight! which i don't have happen often. So Now I've scheduled a Windows activity to wake the system up 2 minutes before my XMLTV scheduled process. I can post logs but do not have them with me....

On another matter, we do appear to get the power off, or screen saver interupt when we qre using the defaul Music player to play music.... And this is annoying! What do I need to do to prevent this???

Any ideas?

HEATH

What i find strange is that the mediaportal client is unable to put the system to sleep unless you set the tvserver to put the computer to sleep.
what i you don't want the tvserver putting the computer to sleep, and only want sleep events intiated by mediaportal client?
