Hello,
I've been using Mediaportal from time to time since three years. Now I finally decided to use Windows for a living room HTPC with a low profile. I installed Mediaportal as a standalone with TV Server, so I have TV Server Configuration and Mediaportal Configuration, running MySQLd etc.
I changed Motherboards and had to reinstall Mediaportal because of DirectX initialization errors. After the reinstall it worked flawless again.
Now I don't see the "My TV" option in the Home screen. This may come from me, selecting "No TV" while reinstalling.
What steps are necessary to keep all my settings, skins and scanned channels, the whole setup and get the My TV option back into Mediaportal? Which databases have to be dumped, which directories need saving and how is the general procedure etc. ?
I searched the web and your wiki and find nothing about this particular situation. Maybe I just got the wrong search words.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
