How to add weather to skin? (1 Viewer)

I'd like to add current weather conditions to various tv series skins.

I have very limited skinning skills, but I tried adding a common.weather.xml file that I created for other skins (myFilms) but can't get it to work in tv series.

Is there a way to do this without breaking it?
